David had been my boss during my 18 months or so working on <em>International Textiles<\/em> magazine in Amsterdam. Having returned to London, I was very happy to assist in the creation of the debut issue of Textile View. This was not without its stresses, as I relayed in a piece in Issue 101 that runs alongside the item David himself wrote about me.
