Marinella brings Napoli to London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 1914 Eugenio Marinella opened a small store at Riviera di Chiaia 287, Naples,\u00a0specialising\u00a0in the English accessories and perfumes that were in vogue at the time. Nearly 100 years later, the store is still there and E. Marinella continues to source most of its silk beautiful fabrics from England for its\u00a0exquisite\u00a0ties, scarves, pocket handkerchiefs&#8230; Eugenio&#8217;s son Luigi succeeded him and today <em>le padrone <\/em>is Eugenio&#8217;s grandson Maurizio. &#8220;We are very classic and very conservative,&#8221; he told me in his handsome London boutique at 54 Maddox Street, Mayfair. Sounds the perfect strategy to me, Maurizio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ericmusgrave.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC09162.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2951\" title=\"Maurizio Marinella, Simon Carter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ericmusgrave.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC09162-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I decided that an international accessories summit was in order so I introduced Sgr Marinella to my chum Simon Carter.
