Christmas 2009 – December is filling up nicely and we must remind all members to call right now and speak to Gordon if function space is required. Of course long standing members will know with resignation, that for the whole dreadful month, the Union relinquishes the moral high ground without hesitation, grabbing every corporate knees up and tawdry office snogfest that comes our way - yet it would be unkind to say we do not also endeavour to hold back a few dark corners of corridor space for our regular members to occupy. Indeed, familiar faces may also be seen, wide eyed and cowering furtively together in mutual support, while the awful debacle of the season explodes all around. ‘The horror….'
