The Day of the Peacock

Anyone who enjoyed my own book, Sharp Suits, will want to add The Day of the Peacock: Style for Men 1963-1973 to their library too. It is in some ways a personal memoir by author Geoffrey Aquilina Ross, who is a friend and erstwhile colleague of mine. The first men’s wear editor of British Vogue, Geoffrey cleverly contacted photographers he worked with 30 and more years ago to source many of the excellent images in the book, which is published by the V&A Museum. It’s highly recommended by me.
